Wildly Different Newsletter No images? Click here May 2020 IssueNational Creativity DayMay 30th is National Creativity Day! However, the month of May also includes Nurse’s Week, National Police Week, and Emergency Medical Services Week! To begin our newsletter this month, we felt it fitting to say THANK YOU to the healthcare workers, first responders, and all the essential workers! And in honor of those who are working to keep us safe and healthy, and to lift the spirits of everyone who may be feeling the effects of this on-going crisis, we are sharing our favorite team building programs you can do to add some fun, positivity, and creativity to your work day. Custom Virtual Team BuilderWith a company name like Wildly Different, we realize that no two organizations are the same. Which is why our custom remote games bring an added level of creativity to any team building event! These custom games are great for bringing meeting content, training information, and your brand to your participants in a unique way. For example, we recently created a custom virtual escape room for a pharmaceutical client. Teams had to collaborate and use their product knowledge to solve a series of clues in order to escape the doctor’s office before time ran out! For more information, check out this video. DIY Custom Game ShowCreating a custom game show is a wonderful way to bring energy to your team and can showcase your team’s creative side! You can host your game show virtually in a web-conferencing platform such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts, etc., with your game show host leading the players through a series of challenges. Include questions about the history of your company, or a new product roll out, but be sure to add some fun too! For instance, have a “Get to Know Your Colleagues” category and ask questions like, “Which member of the sales team plays the acoustic guitar?” Or, “Which member of the accounting team makes custom cakes?” Your team will be engaged and feel connected to one another while they learn a little bit more about each other’s creative sides! |
