In the last 18+ months the way we do business (from in-person to virtual) and just about our entire lives (hello WFH life and furry officemates) have changed drastically... But the last few weeks, our Wildly Different team has had a glimmer of what we are expecting to be our new, “new normal.” Within the last seven days we’ve had in-person events in Florida, Arizona, and Texas, while also executing virtual programs for groups around the world! It is beyond crazy to think that some of you reading this newsletter have only ever done virtual games with Wildly Different and that you may not even know about our in-person team builders that we’ve been producing for almost two decades! So, this month, for the first time since March of 2020, we are sharing tips and tricks for planning an in-person team building classic, a scavenger hunt! With Friday, November 12th being National Happy Hour Day, we are encouraging you to set-up a scavenger hunt for your team and enjoy an hour (or more) of pure happiness! Scavenger HuntsScavenger hunts are our most sought-after team building events! They offer a little something for everyone as teams tackle a variety of tasks that involve solving clues, hunting down items and locations, taking fun team photos and videos, and more! At Wildly Different, we have several different hunts to choose from including Get to the Point, The Great Race, and Epic Selfie Quest. Teams may use their own mobile devices, or we can provide an iPad for them to utilize. Either way, scavenger hunts give your participants an opportunity to create memories while enjoying the area and having fun! At the end of your group’s scavenger hunt, invite everyone to meet back up for happy hour and enjoy a slideshow with the top photos and videos submitted during the experience. We’ll even have award medals for the winning team! Want to organize a scavenger hunt but aren’t able to meet in-person? We’ve adapted The Great Race for remote teams too! DIY MixologyOn November 12th host a do-it-yourself activity and teach your team how to make a festive drink before the holidays. Start by purchasing and preparing the ingredients ahead of time. Then, an hour before the workday ends, invite everyone to the break room (or to meet online) for a mixology lesson (alcohol optional)! Share the drink recipe with the team and lead them through the process step by step. Your group will thoroughly enjoy catching up with one another while mixing drinks and sipping on something delicious! Check out this blackberry-rosemary drink and this Cranberry Fizz for inspiration! Jingle Mingle and More!We still have availability this December. Whether you are looking to Escape the Arctic, solve the Murder on the Slopes, or Jingle Mingle – be sure to contact us for your group’s holiday party! |
