Fins Up for Fun this FebruaryWhat an amazing few months we’ve had at Wildly Different while our team continues to grow both personally and professionally. Our Manager of Making it Happen, Mac, returned from maternity leave just in time for our Extraordinary Experience Maker, Monica to welcome a baby boy on January 1st. We are so excited for our team’s growing families and their two beautiful and healthy baby boys. Please help us welcome Carter and Brody to our extended Wildly Different family! This event season we are also thrilled to have an operations assistant, Angela join the Wildly Different Team. Angela’s first month was a quite a feat as we executed 30 events in 31 days around the United States. In the month of January, our largest team builder resulted in 20,000 non-perishable food items being donated to a local foodbank. As we continue to book events through 2023, there is one event type that is ALWAYS number one in requests... hunts! Which is why we couldn’t wait another day to announce our newest offering, the Lost Shaker of Salt Scavenger Hunt. Lost Shaker of Salt Scavenger HuntPut on your flip flops and get ready to have a great time during this fun scavenger hunt that celebrates all things “Margaritaville.” After a welcome by the Wildly Different emcee, teams are off to explore the area during a “happy hour” unlike any other. The hunt is managed through a dynamic game app that features GPS hotspots to guide teams to various challenge stations. During the hunt, teams put their creativity to the test during photo and video challenges. They’ll take photos showing their shark “fins” and record videos sharing what “paradise” means to them. Teams will also complete a variety of trivia tasks. For example, teams will test their knowledge on sea life and answer musical questions after listening to a series of song clips. In addition to challenges in the app, teams will also visit Parrothead Game Stations where they must work together complete physical challenges. Teams show off their skills while tossing limes into blenders or catching and creating the perfect cheeseburgers during the Cheeseburger in Paradise challenge. When time is up, all teams will meet to find out who the winner is! Here they will gather round to see the photos and videos submitted during the Lost Shaker of Salt Scavenger Hunt, and then the winning team will be announced. Of course, the winners will earn the ultimate bragging rights in the form of shiny gold award medals. Happy Hour HappeningsPlan your own “It’s (Almost) 5 O’Clock Somewhere” happy hour. Set up a Cheeseburger In Paradise burger bar with all sorts of crazy toppings for people to try. Host a cocktail (or mocktail) competition where teams compete to come up with the best mixed drink and/or have them carve their own drink holders out of tropical produce like pineapples, melons and coconuts and award a prize for the one that gets the most votes for the most creative. Finally, you can round it all out by challenging teams to a round of trivia that relates to the theme. Pro-tip – plan your happy hour during the last hour of your workday so you don’t cut into your team’s personal time. You’ll get a much higher turnout, and they’ll appreciate the opportunity to connect with their colleagues. |
